Job Title: Materials Coordinator
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Employment Type: Full-Time
Please Note: Only candidates with experience in the furniture industry (specifically in fabrics, upholstery, and materials) will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:·
· Source, evaluate, and coordinate materials for various furniture projects
· Ensure all materials meet brand and project-specific requirements
· Maintain accurate records and inventories of material samples
· Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure timely material availability
· Liaise with suppliers to confirm specifications, lead times, and deliveries· Conduct quality checks and ensure consistency in materials across projects
Required Qualifications:
· 1–2 years of experience in the furniture industry (fabrics, upholstery, and materials)· Strong understanding of fabric types, textures, and color matching
· Familiarity with furniture design and production processes
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Textile Design, or a related field
· Experience with inventory or material tracking systems
· Creative mindset with awareness of material trends and innovations
