Role Summary
Wood Couture is looking for a passionate Senior Interior Designer to join its creative force, working on bespoke FF&E projects for luxury hospitality and residential spaces. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in design-led environments and is ready to bring their creative vision to life through collaboration with global brands.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the creative process from concept development to execution for bespoke interior and FF&E projects.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to translate project briefs into practical and aesthetic design solutions. Prepare mood boards, layouts, detailed drawings, and material selections.
- Oversee 2D/3D drawing development, renderings, and coordination with the shop drawing and production teams.
- Review and approve detailed shop drawings, prototypes, and mock-ups. Guide and mentor junior designers and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
- Ensure design integrity and alignment with client expectations throughout manufacturing, mock-up, and delivery phases.
- Liaise with project managers and clients to provide design input during installation or on-site coordination.
- Contribute to tender submissions and technical documentation for large scale hospitality projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, sustainable design practices, and competitive innovations.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hospitality or high-end residential interior design. Strong FF&E knowledge and ability to develop furniture and joinery detailing.
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with production constraints and fit-out processes is a plus.
-Proficient in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop/Illustrator, 3ds Max or similar rendering tools)
